Finding the right room

Can I rent a treatment room by the hour, day, or week?

Yes. Med Estate lists rooms with a range of availability types including hourly, daily, weekly, and ongoing arrangements. Each listing shows the room's availability schedule so you can find a setup that suits your practice. You can contact the room owner directly to confirm availability, organise an inspection, and discuss expected rates.

What types of rooms can I find on Med Estate?

You can find GP rooms, allied health treatment rooms, specialist consulting rooms, therapy rooms, counselling rooms, wellness studios, and more, all listed by active healthcare clinics.

What if the room I want isn't available right now?

You can add any room to your watchlist. Med Estate will notify you as soon as that room becomes available so you do not miss out.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

Not necessarily. Many rooms on Med Estate are available on flexible, short-term, or casual arrangements. Lease terms vary by listing, and you can filter by availability type to find rooms that match your needs. Rooms are not booked directly on Med Estate.

Is there a cost to search for rooms as a practitioner?

Creating a practitioner profile and searching for rooms on Med Estate is free.

Can room owners find me on Med Estate?

Yes. Practitioners can build a searchable profile on Med Estate that clinic owners can browse when they have a room available, making it a two-way marketplace.

Listing and managing rooms

How do I list my treatment room on Med Estate?

Head to med.estate/user/rooms/create and follow the setup steps. Create your account, add your clinic location, and publish your room listing. It takes around 5 minutes.

How much does it cost to list a room on Med Estate?

There is a one-time listing fee of $120 per room, which makes it a featured room for 30 days. After that, it is $15 per month to keep the listing active as a standard listing. Use the promo code FIRSTROOM for 20% off your first listing.

What is a Featured Listing?

For $120, you can feature your room on the Med Estate homepage and at the top of search results for 30 days, which is ideal if you want to fill the room quickly.

Can I list multiple rooms?

Yes. You can list an unlimited number of treatment rooms under one account.

What if my room isn't available right now, can I still list it?

Yes. You can list rooms that are currently unavailable to start building a waitlist of interested practitioners. When the room opens up, you already have leads ready.

Why list on Med Estate instead of using a recruitment agency?

Med Estate gives you direct access to a pool of practitioners actively looking for space without agency fees or ongoing commissions. You stay in control of who rents your room and on what terms.

What types of practitioners will see my listing?

Your listing is searchable by profession type, so the right practitioners, including GPs, allied health professionals, specialists, and therapists, can find your room based on what they need.

Can I list a room in countries other than Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, or Singapore?

Yes. Med Estate is a global platform, so you can create a room listing for any location in the world.

Pricing and subscriptions

How does billing work for room listings?

After paying the one-time activation fee, your room is a featured listing for 30 days. The $15 per month subscription starts after those 30 days and keeps your listing active and visible in search. You can cancel before the 30 days end if you do not want to be charged the monthly fee.

What payment methods does Med Estate accept?

Med Estate accepts major credit and debit cards through its secure checkout.

Is there a cancellation policy?

You can cancel or pause your listing at any time. When you cancel a room listing, no further fees are charged for that listing. Contact hello@med.estate if you need help managing your account.
